The S11 Compact Substation Electrical Oil Immersed Transformers core is constructed using high-permeability cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel. The core lamination are precision-sheared and automatically stacked to ensure tight joints and uniform magnetic paths, fundamentally minimizing no-load current and stray losses.
Both high-voltage and low-voltage windings use oxygen-free copper conductors for high electrical conductivity and low resistive losses. Moreover, low-voltage windings adopt a foil-winding configuration with uniform inter-layer insulation, which significantly enhances short-circuit withstand capability.
High-quality mineral insulating oil or optionally, environmentally friendly high-fire-point insulating fluid, is used to provide excellent dielectric strength and chemical stability. The oil-paper insulation system undergoes rigorous vacuum drying and oil-filling processes to ensure no residual air bubbles remain, achieving a partial discharge inception voltage well above standard requirements, thereby ensuring long-term operational reliability.

The tank incorporates a corrugated panel or integrated fin-type radiator design, meeting cooling requirements while providing elastic flexibility to automatically accommodate oil volume fluctuations. The fully sealed structure is equipped with a pressure relief valve and an oil level indicator, preventing contact between the oil and ambient air, thereby avoiding oxidation and moisture absorption, and extending oil replacement intervals.
Optimized for compact substation applications, the S11 Compact Substation Electrical Oil Immersed Transformers enables pre-installed integration with high-voltage switchgear and low-voltage distribution panels. External dimensions are precisely calculated to minimize footprint while meeting electrical clearance and insulation distance requirements. Lifting lugs, base mounting holes, and cable entry methods are standardized to facilitate rapid on-site installation and connection.
An oil temperature gauge and winding temperature indicator are provided as standard, enabling real-time temperature monitoring and offering configurable alarm and trip contacts. For high-capacity transformers, an optional fiber-optic temperature measurement system allows precise monitoring of winding hotpots temperatures, providing data support for dynamic load management.
A pressure relief valve is installed to automatically release pressure in the event of abnormal internal tank pressure, preventing deformation or rupture. The oil level gauge features a low-oil-level alarm function, enabling timely maintenance intervention or leak detection.
Each transformer undergoes comprehensive type tests and routine tests prior to delivery, including no-load loss and load loss tests, short-circuit impedance tests, induced over-voltage withstand tests, partial discharge tests, and lightning impulse tests.
