This product is primarily used in 12kV/24kV power systems for ring main unit (RMU) applications or terminal power distribution.
Simply put, it enables power distribution, switching, protection, and control. Specific functions include:

2. Making and breaking short-circuit current - in combination with fuses or circuit breakers, quickly cut off the circuit during faults to protect transformers and lines.

A: Currently, SF6 remains the best insulating gas, but we have already developed eco-friendly versions (C4 or dry air). The gas tank of the unit you purchase is extremely well sealed, with minimal leakage over 30 years of operation. If an eco-friendly retrofit is needed in the future, we can provide a complete gas tank replacement service.
A: Our product comes standard with a gas density gauge (with low-pressure alarm contact). When the pressure drops to 0.25 bar (relative), an alarm signal is sent to the control system. At that point, a power outage should be requested, and our after-sales team will visit to check for leaks and refill SF6. Under normal circumstances, refilling due to leakage is almost never required.
